Volunteer for a Special Event

Throughout the year HavenHouse St. Louis has several events where volunteers are needed to give their time for a few hours on a one-time basis or over a longer period of time. Many of these events are tied to our fundraising efforts and are crucial to the ongoing mission of HavenHouse. Volunteers are vital to the success of our fundraising events, so whether it's an hour or several hours of your time we appreciate your help.

The HopeFest Gala is our biggest fundraiser of the year. It is traditionally held in February or March and planning begins in the summer. Approximately 40 volunteers are needed for various roles (planning, solicitation of auction items, public relations, marketing, content, set-up, evening of event, and breakdown.)

Team HavenHouse participates annually in the GO! St. Louis Fitness Weekend in April each year. Volunteers are needed to assist with getting donations like snacks and drinks for goody bags, recruiting additional walkers and runners, and staffing the Team HavenHouse tent on race days.

Several area organizations honor HavenHouse each year by donating all or a portion of their proceeds from Third Party Golf Tournaments. These events usually happen in April and September each year. Volunteers are needed to assist on the days of these events.

Our Young Professional's Board hosts Trivia Night each fall and Derby Day each spring. Volunteers are needed to assist with several tasks at these events including raffle ticket sales, silent auction sales, set-up, clean-up, and registration.
